The AE Techron 7228 is a robust 1-kVA RF amplifier engineered for advanced protection and versatility across a wide range of applications. Capable of operating from DC to 1 MHz, this amplifier excels in performance, particularly at frequencies exceeding 100 kHz. In continuous operation, it can deliver output power up to four times greater than its counterpart, the 7224, at these elevated frequencies. Furthermore, users can seamlessly combine multiple amplifiers in series or parallel configurations to meet increased power or current demands.
Designed for user-friendly customization, the AE Techron 7228 features back-panel switches that allow for easy configuration according to application needs—whether for high-voltage/low-current, medium voltage/current, or low-voltage/high-current scenarios. The enhancements over the previous 7224 model are evident with noticeable reductions in residual noise alongside improvements in slew rate and gain linearity. This amplifier is capable of safely driving a diverse array of resistive and inductive loads.
Predominantly utilized for generating specific waveforms required by various EMC standards applicable to DC powered electronics like FMC 1278, DO-160, and MIL STD 461, the AE Techron 7228 also serves as an effective gradient amplifier in high-gain, small-bore MRI and NMR systems.
