The AEMC 6255 is a state-of-the-art 10A Micro-Ohmmeter designed for professionals who demand precision and durability in both plant maintenance and field applications. This robust low resistance tester utilizes a four-lead Kelvin method, ensuring that it is the most accurate Micro-Ohmmeter available with measurement results defined within a remarkable 0.05% accuracy.

Engineered to handle a variety of materials, the Model 6255 is adept at conducting tests on both resistive and inductive materials, with easy operator selection via the directly accessible front panel. This advanced instrument features three distinct test modes:

    • Resistive: An instantaneous test for quick assessments.
    • Inductive: A continuous test suited for in-depth analysis.
    • Auto: A repetitive test designed for extended measurements.

With a wide measuring range of 1μΩ to 2500Ω, the Micro-Ohmmeter Model 6255 is exceptionally versatile. Offering test currents that can be adjusted from 1mA to 10A (either continuous or pulsed), this instrument is particularly useful for accurately measuring various inductive or non-inductive resistances.

Safety and usability are paramount in the design of the Model 6255. It includes a built-in thermal switch that protects the device from overheating during extended use on the 10A range. The large, clear liquid crystal display (2.25 x 4.00") presents important measurement data, including resistance value, metal type, reference and ambient temperatures (if selected), alarm conditions, test current, range, and test mode (Resistive, Inductive, or Auto).

Designed for long measurement campaigns, the AEMC 6255 can sustain operation at 10A DC for durations of up to 60 minutes. Additional features of this model include long battery life and rapid load charging, achieving measurement stabilization in under 2 seconds.
