Capable of delivering a minimum of 250 watts of RF power across a extensive frequency range of 10 kHz to 400 MHz, this amplifier is ideally suited for use in conjunction with a sweep generator.

Designed for versatility, the 250A400 features comprehensive remote control capabilities. All amplifier control functions and status indications can be accessed remotely via GPIB/IEEE-488 format, RS-232 hardwire, fiber optic, USB, and Ethernet connections (Remotes Package). This makes it particularly advantageous for integration into automated test systems.

Equipped with a state-of-the-art Digital Control Panel (DCP), the amplifier employs a color LCD touch screen display that clearly indicates operational status and fault conditions. Safety is a top priority, as the amplifier includes a thermal protection feature that disconnects the DC voltage from the RF amplifier stages in the event of over-temperature conditions. Additionally, an integrated safety interlock circuit recognizes external safety switch interlocks, ensuring the amplifier remains inoperable unless a secure external connection is established.
