The Anritsu MS4647A VectorStar VNA sets a new standard in S-parameter measurements for RF, Microwave, and Millimeter wave devices. With its intuitive design, the MS4647A enables users to capture and visualize the S-parameter performance of a device across a specified frequency range in a single, streamlined setup. This advanced analyzer boasts a remarkable time domain capability, providing a maximum bandwidth resolution of 70 GHz to assess device performance at specific locations. The ability to zoom into narrow bands of interest allows for additional detailed analysis, including group delay and frequency response.
Engineered for speed and efficiency, the VectorStar integrates a robust microprocessor alongside a custom DSP high-speed data link, facilitating rapid data transfer. Through the innovative use of direct memory access and deep memory buffers, the analyzer achieves impressive frequency stepping as well as the capability to store and manipulate extensive data sets. The MS4647A optimizes broadband dynamic range performance via its unique harmonic sampler architecture and Non-Linear Transmission Line (NLTL) technology—also referred to as shock-line transmission.
