Advanced Features
The digital control panel allows users to set and monitor the operating parameters easily. To protect delicate samples that are sensitive to heat, the BeadBlaster™ can be programmed for short, consecutive cycles with rest periods in between. Up to 50 customizable programs can be stored in memory, allowing for quick and easy recall during experiments.
The design includes a transparent lid which enables visualization of samples during processing. A mechanical lid lock ensures safety by preventing the unit from being opened during operation. Furthermore, the brushless motor not only minimizes noise but also provides maintenance-free performance, making it reliable for continuous use.
Additional Accessories
To further enhance its versatility, the BeadBlaster™ 24 is compatible with an assortment of prefilled tube kits tailored for various sample types. The highly regarded Triple-Pure™ kits come equipped with acid-washed, heat-treated zirconium beads, extensively tested to be free of nucleases, ideal for applications in molecular biology. For those new to the system, a convenient starter kit (D1032-SK) is available, accommodating a wide range of sample types.
