Equipped with a wide array of functions, this electronic load is an essential tool for testing and evaluating DC power supplies, DC-DC converters, batteries, battery chargers, and photovoltaic arrays.

With multiple operational modes including List mode, Transient mode, Automatic Test mode, and Battery Test mode, the BK Precision 8502B adapts seamlessly to both laboratory and production line environments. Its capability to simulate varying load conditions—continuously switching and pulsing—offers a dynamic testing experience for DC sources.

Featuring a compact benchtop design, the BK Precision 8502B operates in four modes: Constant Current (CC), Constant Voltage (CV), Constant Resistance (CR), and Constant Power (CW). The unit incorporates internal memory for storing up to 100 sets of user-defined parameters, including voltage, current, slew rate, and width, allowing for rapid recollection of test configurations. Load behavior can be initiated through internal, external, or remote triggers via the included application software. In addition to the front panel and remote interface control, current values can be adjusted using an analog control signal, providing flexibility in operation.

For further monitoring and control, the BK Precision 8502B includes a BNC output available on the rear, which provides a 0 to 10V output signal for current monitoring, ensuring comprehensive data tracking during tests.
