Featuring multiple test modes such as list mode, transient mode, automatic test mode, and battery test mode, the BK Precision 8524 delivers comprehensive testing capabilities suitable for both laboratory and production line applications. The ability to simulate continuously switching and pulsing load conditions provides a dynamic testing environment, ensuring accurate and reliable results for your DC sources.
Contained within a compact benchtop design, the BK Precision 8524 offers four operational modes: constant current (CC), constant voltage (CV), constant resistance (CR), and constant power (CW). It is equipped with internal memory that allows users to save up to 100 sets of user-configurable parameters, including voltage, current, slew rate, and width, facilitating quick system recalls during testing.
The load behavior can be seamlessly triggered via internal, external, or remote means using the included application software. Control options are versatile—current values can be programmed directly from the front panel, through a remote interface, or via an analog control signal. Additionally, the electronic load can be externally controlled from zero to full scale with a 0 to 10 V input signal. A BNC output on the rear facilitates the monitoring of current, providing a 0 to 10 V output signal for ease of use.
