The BK Precision 8610 is a state-of-the-art programmable DC electronic load, designed to deliver the performance typically associated with modular system DC electronic loads, all in a compact benchtop format. With impressive fast transient operation speeds and a high 16-bit measurement resolution, this versatile standalone DC load is perfect for testing and evaluating a diverse range of DC sources, including DC power supplies, DC-DC converters, batteries, battery chargers, and photovoltaic arrays.

To guarantee reliability during testing, the BK Precision 8610 boasts an array of safety features including: overtemperature protection (OTP), overvoltage protection (OVP), overcurrent protection (OCP), overpower protection (OPP), and local/remote reverse voltage protection (LRV/RRV). For automated testing needs, this model can execute multiple test sequences in an automatic test mode, enabling the linking of up to 100 different sequences with a variety of operating modes and loading conditions. Each sequence can be explicitly programmed with upper and lower limit Pass/Fail criteria, ensuring efficient and accurate testing outcomes.
