The BK Precision 8624 programmable DC electronic load combines the performance of modular system DC electronic loads in a conveniently compact benchtop design. Perfect for testing and evaluating a variety of DC sources, it features fast transient operation speeds and a high 16-bit measurement resolution.
Engineered to meet diverse testing requirements, this standalone DC load is ideal for applications involving DC power supplies, DC-DC converters, batteries, battery chargers, and photovoltaic arrays. Its versatile triggering options—including internal, external, and remote—allow for dynamic load behavior that can be easily synchronized with other events.
To enhance the reliability of your testing processes, the BK Precision 8624 incorporates a power-on system self-test along with a suite of critical protection features, including:
- Overtemperature Protection (OTP)
- Overvoltage Protection (OVP)
- Overcurrent Protection (OCP)
- Overpower Protection (OPP)
- Local/Remote Reverse Voltage Protection (LRV/RRV)
In automatic test mode, the BK Precision 8624 can execute multiple test sequences, allowing users to link up to 100 different sequences of varying operating modes and loading conditions. Each sequence can also be customized with pass/fail criteria based on user-defined upper and lower limits.
For remote communication and control, the BK Precision 8624 is equipped with standard interfaces that include GPIB, USB, and RS232, making it easy to integrate into automated testing environments.
