Capsule Filter, Sanitary Flange (Sizes 1.5" and 5")
The Capsule Filter with Sanitary Flange is a top-tier disposable filtration solution, expertly designed to efficiently remove particles and bacteria from aqueous solutions, solvent solutions, and gas streams. Engineered for modern laboratory environments, these filters are ready for immediate use, which significantly reduces downtime by eliminating the need for disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly of filter housings.
Crafted with innovation in mind, GVS capsules incorporate a serial layer filter design that enhances both throughput and longevity, ensuring reliable and sustained performance. Notably, they are free from adhesives and surfactants, contributing to their superior filter integrity. The dual upstream vents allow for versatile venting in any orientation, making these capsules exceptionally user-friendly.
Each capsule containing membrane media undergoes a pre-flushing process with purified water to minimize extractables, reassuring users of their safety and efficacy. Constructed from food-compliant polypropylene housings, these capsules meet FDA and EU standards—responsibility for compliance with application-specific regulations lies with the end user. All filters have successfully passed class VI toxicology tests and are subject to rigorous integrity testing before shipment. Users can choose between sterile and non-sterile options, with all products conveniently packaged in low particulate plastic bags and individual boxes. Sterile versions come shrink-wrapped and include a sterility indicator for added assurance.
