Introducing the Capsule Filter, a highly efficient and disposable filtration unit tailored for the removal of particles or bacteria from aqueous solutions, solvent solutions, and gas streams. Engineered for simplicity and effectiveness, our GVS capsule filters are ready to use, eliminating the cumbersome processes of disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly of filter housings.

Featuring a unique serial layer filter design, these capsules boost throughput and extend lifespan without the interference of glues or surfactants. Designed with versatility in mind, the Capsule Filter includes two upstream vents to facilitate venting in any position, making it an ideal choice for diverse laboratory applications.

Each membrane media capsule is preflushed with purified water, minimizing extractables for increased reliability. Housed in FDA/EU compliant polypropylene, they are suitable for food-related applications, although it remains the end user’s responsibility to ensure compliance with applicable regulations. All capsules undergo rigorous class VI toxicology testing and are integrity tested prior to shipping. For added convenience, the capsule filters are available in both sterile and non-sterile versions, packaged in low particulate bags and individual boxes. Sterile units come shrink-wrapped with a sterility indicator.
