Employing advanced Digital Signal Processing (DSP) technology, the Chroma 61507 excels in simulating power line disturbances (PLD) using LIST, PULSE, and STEP modes. The user-friendly interface features a large graphic LCD display paired with an intuitive keypad, allowing users to access functions swiftly and efficiently.
Connectivity is seamless with the availability of GPIB, RS-232, USB, and Ethernet interfaces, enabling remote control of the AC source. The Chroma 61507 also satisfies the IEC 61000-4-29 requirements for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), simulating voltage dips, short interruptions, and voltage variation test conditions.
The innovative WAVEFORM function allows analysts to select from square, clipped-sine waves, and an extensive library of 30 stored distortion waveforms. In accordance with IEC 61000-4-13 standards, this AC power source not only simulates harmonics waveforms but also inter-harmonics. Users can create up to 50 orders of harmonics, whether based on 50Hz or 60Hz, ensuring periodic harmonics distortion waveforms are achieved. Furthermore, the sweeping inter-harmonics functions integrate frequency components between harmonic frequencies, enhancing testing versatility.
