The Chroma 61509 AC Power Source is a cutting-edge electrical testing solution designed for demanding applications. With advanced DSP technology integration, the Chroma 61509 excels in simulating power line disturbances (PLD) through LIST, PULSE, and STEP modes. Its user-friendly interface features a large graphic LCD display and an intuitive keypad, enabling quick access to various functions. Remote control is facilitated through multiple communication interfaces including GPIB, RS-232, USB, and Ethernet.

This model is compliant with IEC 61000-4-29 testing standards, effectively simulating voltage dips, short interruptions, and voltage variation test conditions, ensuring robust electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) performance. The WAVEFORM function allows users to generate square and clipped-sine waves, as well as over 30 stored distortion waveforms.

Designed for comprehensive harmonic analysis, the Chroma 61509 accommodates up to 50 orders of harmonics based on either a 50Hz or 60Hz fundamental frequency. This output can be further enhanced with periodic harmonics distortion waveforms. Additionally, it features sweeping inter-harmonics functions that combine the fundamental frequency with a frequency sweeping component across harmonic frequencies.
