With a slew of remarkable features, the Chroma 62150H-1000S integrates high-speed & precision digitizing measurement circuits, featuring a 100kHz A/D and 25kHz D/A controlled I-V curve simulation alongside advanced digital filter mechanisms. These capabilities ensure accurate I-V curve simulations free from mains ripple effects, streamlining the assessment of PV inverter performance.

This innovative power supply acknowledges real-world variables affecting solar output, such as irradiation, temperature, rain, and shading from trees or clouds. It can store up to 100 I-V curves in its memory with programmable intervals ranging from 1 to 15,000 seconds, effectively simulating sunlight conditions from dawn through to dusk for comprehensive PV inverter testing and dynamic I-V curve transient examinations.

The precision of the Chroma 62150H-1000S is reinforced by its 16-bit digital control and accurate voltage & current measurement circuits, boasting a voltage accuracy of 0.05% + 0.05% FS and a current accuracy of 0.1% + 0.1% FS. To meet high power simulation needs, the Chroma 62150H-1000S supports multiple power modules in parallel configurations, with a current range reaching up to 25A and a voltage range of 1000V, allowing for a maximum power density envelope of 15KW in a 3U unit. With the ability to connect up to ten units in a Master/Slave configuration, it can deliver a remarkable 150kW for testing commercial PV inverters (ranging from 10kW to 100kW). The smart Master/Slave control mode simplifies parallel operations, as the master unit scales values and downloads data to slave units seamlessly.

User-friendly operation is a hallmark of the Chroma 62150H-1000S, which can be controlled via the front panel keypad or remotely through standard USB, RS232, RS485, and APG connections, with optional GPIB and Ethernet interfaces available.
