The Chroma 6312A DC Electronic Load Mainframe is a state-of-the-art solution specifically designed for testing and evaluating multi-output AC/DC power supplies, DC/DC converters, chargers, LED drivers, and various power electronic components. With the capacity to accommodate 2 load modules with a combined power rating of up to 600W, it offers exceptional versatility and robustness for demanding engineering applications.
Key Features:
- Multi-Operational Modes: The loads can operate in constant current, constant voltage, constant power, and constant resistance modes, making it suitable for a variety of testing scenarios.
- Enhanced Configuration: Loads can be connected in parallel to increase both current and power capabilities, ensuring adaptability to specific testing requirements.

Technical Specifications:
Each load module incorporates a common GPIB Address, simplifying synchronization and expediting control of the load modules as well as the readback of data. Alternatively, USB communication can be specified, though only one I/O port can be ordered at a time.
Measurement Precision:
The integrated 16-bit precision A/D converter allows for accurate voltage measurements with an accuracy of 0.025% + 0.025% of full scale. Meanwhile, the built-in resistive load current sensing circuit provides current measurements with an accuracy of 0.05% + 0.05% of full scale, ensuring that even short circuit conditions can be effectively simulated.
Protection Features:
The Chroma 6312A comes equipped with Over Current (OC), Over Power (OP), and Over Temperature (OT) protection systems. Additionally, alarm indicators for Over Voltage (OV) and reverse polarity help guarantee safety and reliability during testing processes.

The Chroma 6312A is compatible with an extensive range of load modules offering ratings up to 600 watts, covering a current range from 0.5mA to 120A, and voltage ratings from 0.5mV to 500V. Below are some compatible modules:

- 63107A: 80V, 5A & 40A, 30W & 250W
LED Load Simulators:
The Chroma 6312A is also compatible with various LED load simulators designed for efficient LED driver testing:
