RENT CHROMA 63804 AC & DC Electronic Load
The Chroma 63804 AC & DC Electronic Load is engineered to effectively test various power devices, including Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), Off-Grid Inverters, AC sources, and critical components such as switches, circuit breakers, fuses, and connectors. This cutting-edge equipment employs advanced DSP technology, enabling it to simulate non-linear rectified loads through its unique RLC operation mode. This feature enhances stability by accurately assessing the impedance of the Unit Under Test (UUT) and dynamically adjusting the load's control bandwidth, ensuring optimal system stability.
This sophisticated electronic load integrates 16-bit precision measurement circuits, allowing for comprehensive analysis of both steady-state and transient responses. It provides essential metrics including true RMS voltage and current, true power (P), apparent power (S), reactive power (Q), crest factor, power factor, total harmonic distortion voltage (THDv), and peak repetitive current. The Chroma 63804 operates in two distinctive modes—AC load simulation and DC load simulation—with four available load modes. Notably, it features a specialized DC Rectified mode tailored to mimic the loading characteristics of distributed inverters, making it an ideal tool for testing Fuel Cells, Photovoltaic (PV) modules/arrays, and batteries.
