The Elektro-Automatik PSB91000-40 is an advanced microprocessor-controlled bi-directional power supply, seamlessly merging the capabilities of a power source and an electronic load within a single compact unit. This innovative design supports two-quadrant operation as a standard feature, facilitating versatility across a wide array of applications.
Equipped with an intelligent internal electronic load, the PSB91000-40 minimizes capacitance discharge on the DC terminal, resulting in high voltage dynamics. This ensures optimal performance for both sourcing and sinking operations. The unit is engineered with an active Power Factor Correction (PFC) circuit, making it suitable for operation on both two-phase and three-phase power supplies, with input ratings typically ranging from 380 V to 480 V AC. Additionally, models are available for 208 V AC supply at a 50% derated power level to accommodate various operational environments.
Featuring a flexible autoranging bidirectional power stage, the PSB91000-40 allows users to achieve higher output voltages at lower currents and vice versa, while adhering to its maximum rated output power. This adaptability makes it an essential instrument for numerous tasks, as users can easily adjust the power set values. The state-of-the-art color TFT screen, designed for intuitive touch control, provides effortless navigation through the device's functionalities, enabling users to set and adjust voltage, current, power, or resistance quickly.
