The EA Elektro-Automatik PSB9360-120 is a sophisticated microprocessor-controlled bi-directional DC power supply, ingeniously combining the functions of both a power supply (source) and an electronic load (sink) with advanced energy recovery capabilities. Designed with versatility in mind, the PSB9360-120 features an internal electronic load that optimizes voltage dynamics by effectively discharging unavoidable capacitance at the DC terminal. Each unit is equipped with an active Power Factor Correction (PFC) circuit, facilitating seamless operation on both two- and three-phase power supplies within a typical voltage range of 380 V to 480 V AC. Notably, 208 V AC models are available, operating at a 50% derated power level to suit different user needs.
The power supply’s autoranging bidirectional power stage sets it apart, enabling users to achieve higher output voltages at lower output currents or higher output currents at lower output voltages, all while adhering to the maximum rated output power. This flexibility extends to sink mode operation as well. The adjustable power set value further enhances the unit's utility, allowing it to cater to a wide array of applications with minimal equipment requirements.
Control and ease of operation are simplified through a color TFT touch-sensitive screen, which allows users to govern all functions of the device using just a fingertip.
