The Elgar CW801P is a robust 800VA AC power source designed to meet the demands of various testing scenarios in the medical equipment field. This compact 2U high unit allows for flexible connection options, supporting both front and rear panel access to the unit under test.
Delivering fully rated current across two output voltage ranges—135 VAC and 270 VAC—and a standard frequency range of 45 to 500 Hz, the CW801P is ideal for generating clean and reliable single-phase power. The ability to parallel units enables users to scale power according to their specific requirements.
Equipped with advanced Digital Signal Processing (DSP), the Elgar CW801P offers precise measurements of voltage, current (amperes, peak amperes, crest factor), power (watts, VA, and power factor), and frequency. The unit features intuitive front panels adorned with two bright four-digit, seven-segment displays for easy readability.
The Elgar CW801P's Power Factor Corrected (PFC) universal input voltage allows for maximum power delivery from an AC outlet without the hassle of range selection by the user. Safety and efficiency are further enhanced with integrated over-temperature protection and a two-speed fan that provides quiet operation at lower power levels. Additionally, current shutdown or foldback modes can be conveniently selected through a rear panel switch.
