The Elgar SmartWave (SW)5250A AC power source is engineered to meet the rigorous testing demands of modern electronics, including avionics, telecommunications, and commercial applications. This lightweight, low-profile power supply delivers exceptional waveform manipulation capabilities essential for Automated Test Equipment (ATE) and power line disturbance simulation testing. With three independent arbitrary waveform generators, users can create complex waveforms across all three phases simultaneously, enhancing testing accuracy and versatility.
Standing at just 8-3/4 inches high, the Elgar SW5250A packs an impressive power output into a compact design. To accurately emulate real-world power events, it includes a comprehensive library of 50 built-in waveshapes. Users can easily modify output voltages by adjusting amplitude, frequency, and additional parameters. This AC power source is compliant with numerous EMC and avionics standards, designed to deliver low distortion (THD 0.25% at 100 Hz), minimal noise, and ripple, as well as DC content up to 312V.
