ETS-Lindgren 2090 Multi-Device Positioning Controller

The ETS-Lindgren 2090 Multi-Device Positioning Controller is a cutting-edge solution engineered to enhance testing processes using ETS-Lindgren positioning devices such as antenna towers, turntables, reverberation paddles, and multi-axis positioners. It is ideally suited for a diverse range of applications, including EMC compliance testing and antenna pattern measurements.

This advanced controller empowers users to concurrently manage the independent movement of two primary devices, such as towers or turntables, utilizing either manual operation or remote GPIB modes. The controller also facilitates seamless control of the on/off operations of these devices. Featuring fiber optic control lines, the Model 2090 ensures minimal extraneous RF interference that typically plagues traditional wire signal cables, providing reliable signal integrity during critical testing procedures.

The intuitive front panel interface of the Model 2090 includes controllers for two distinct devices, each equipped with identical displays and function keys. Users can effortlessly configure device-specific parameters, adjust limit and position settings, and monitor operational performance—all in real-time. Additionally, the controller supports an auxiliary control interface for up to four ancillary devices, complete with dedicated keys and indicators for toggling these devices on and off manually.

Engineered with versatility in mind, the Emco 2090 Multi-Device Positioning Controller offers an extensive array of configuration parameters tailored for both the controller and its attached devices. The integration of GPIB commands enables seamless communication with various device types, ensuring compatibility across non-ETS-Lindgren products when utilized with an appropriate adapter kit. Key specifications include:

    • Automatic soft position limit settings for enhanced operational safety
    • Dual primary device control in conjunction with auxiliary control for four additional devices
    • Utilization of fiber optic control lines for superior RF interference reduction
    • Adjustable speed control for precision movement management
