The Fujikura 90R Mass Fusion Splicer is engineered for high-volume fiber splicing, making it the ideal choice for mass fusion splicing of ribbon cables. This advanced splicer is capable of handling up to 16 fiber ribbons simultaneously, significantly enhancing operational efficiency in high fiber count applications found in data centers, campuses, and metro networks.
One of the standout features of the 90R is its easily replaceable V-groove system, which allows for quick installation and removal. Users can conveniently splice various types and combinations of ribbon fiber by adjusting the V-groove spacing between 200μm and 250μm to suit the specific optical fiber being spliced.
The Fujikura 90R utilizes a wide electrode gap to ensure uniform heating of the ribbon fibers, thereby facilitating precise adjustments to fusion parameters for optimal splicing regardless of fiber types or field conditions. With features like automated splice start, tube heater, wind protector, cleave tracking, and the capability to manage up to two cleavers simultaneously, this splicer significantly reduces operator workload, allowing focus on other essential fiber preparation tasks.
