Huntron 2800 Tracker

Enhance your debugging and troubleshooting capabilities with the Huntron 2800 Tracker. This advanced instrument is designed to work in tandem with conventional test tools, employing the reliable power-off test method known as Tracker Signature Analysis. By eliminating the risk of circuit damage associated with powered tests, this innovative solution ensures safer diagnostics for today’s complex mixed signal circuit cards that incorporate both analog and digital components.

The Huntron 2800 offers an impressive range of variable parameters, providing users with over 100 different combinations of voltage, source resistance, and frequency. This versatility makes the 2800 Tracker an indispensable offline support tool for automated diagnostic systems, delivering precise and actionable insights into the health of electronic components.

At the core of the Huntron 2800's functionality is its unique ability to apply a current-limited AC signal across two points of a component. This process generates a vertical signature deflection based on current flow, while applied voltage results in a horizontal deflection. The resultant V/I signature serves as a comprehensive representation of the component's health, enabling rapid identification of good, bad, or marginal components through effective signature analysis.
