Introducing the PQN4-A Independent Speed Planetary Ball Mill, a state-of-the-art high-energy milling solution designed for precision and versatility. With a maximum rotation speed of 1600 rpm, this planetary ball mill is an essential tool for ball milling, thorough mixing of diverse powder materials, and mechanical alloying of metal components. It supports the incorporation of up to four 500 mL ball mill tanks to facilitate multiple sample processing.

The unique design of the PQN4-A allows for independent adjustments of jar rotation and disc revolution. The revolution speed can reach 60 rpm, while the rotation speed peaks at 1600 rpm. This flexibility enables users to optimize the rotation speed ratio based on the specific materials being processed, effectively controlling the impact force and shear during milling or mixing.

Key Features:

    • High uniformity and excellent repeatability ensure consistent results across experiments.
    • Experience rapid rotational speed with unparalleled efficiency, producing fine granularity.
    • Simultaneously process four samples with differing sizes and materials in a single experiment.
    • Optional leak-proof jars available for effective wet grinding applications.
    • Wide selection of materials suitable for grinding media enhances versatility.
    • Gear-driven design mitigates typical issues associated with belt driving, such as belt creep and abrasion.
    • Features a low center of gravity, excellent rigidity, and a compact structure for low noise and reliable operation.
    • Adjustable height accommodates various workspace configurations.
    • Integrated safety switch guarantees automatic shutdown when the cover is opened during operation.
    • Versatile speed ranges: Main revolution speed of 10 - 400 RPM and a self-rotation speed of 50 - 1600 RPM, with centrifugal accelerations of <16 g and <120 g, respectively.
    • Achieve optimal milling results with adjustable rotation and revolution speed ratios, recommended at 1 - 3.
    • Touch screen control panel simplifies the setup of ball milling programs.
    • Ideal for material alloying, ball milling, mixing, and homogenization tasks.

DISCLAIMER: Attaining the desired particle size with the ball mill is a research project influenced by variables such as material type, grinding time, speed, and the combination and quantity/size of milling balls used. It is incumbent upon the user to determine the optimal milling procedure for their specific materials. Sample testing services are available prior to purchase to establish baseline procedures, with an understanding that results may vary based on differing conditions.
