The Keithley 487 excels in current measurements ranging from 10 fA to 2 mA, making it ideal for applications where precision is paramount. It offers two distinct voltage source ranges: a 500V range with a remarkable 10mV resolution and a 50V range with a 1mV resolution. The innovative PRESET button allows users to easily switch between two separate source values, enhancing operational flexibility.
This instrument sources up to 500V and boasts a current measurement sensitivity of 10fA, instantly calculating resistance values from 500mΩ to 5 × 1016Ω. Users can choose to display current or resistance measurements, with programmable reading intervals from 10ms to 1000s, streamlining tests that require specific "soak" times.
