Keithley 7065 Hall Effect Card

The Keithley 7065 Hall Effect Card is an exceptional solution for assembling cost-efficient Hall test systems, catering to both researchers and engineers aiming to create robust Hall Effect measurement setups. The unparalleled sensitivity and performance capabilities of this card surpass any existing Hall Effect electronics package, establishing a new standard in the industry.

This advanced signal conditioning card is designed to effectively buffer test signals from Hall samples to measurement instrumentation, while also facilitating current switching from a source to the Hall sample itself. When integrated with a Keithley 7001 scanner mainframe, the 7065 card enables the precise measurement of Hall voltages as low as 50nV, along with sampling resistances exceeding 1012Ω.

The Keithley 7065 can be operated in two distinct modes: low resistivity and high resistivity. In high resistivity mode, the card features an input impedance greater than 100TΩ, an input bias current of less than 150fA, and an output resistance of under 60Ω. Both operating modes maintain an input voltage range of +8V to –8V. For applications requiring higher voltage outputs, transitioning to a 6220/6514 system is advisable. Proper design of cabling and sample connections is crucial to maximize the 7065's performance; detailed guidance is available in the Keithley Low Level Measurements handbook.
