KEYSIGHT / AGILENT E9304A Average Power Sensor

The Keysight E9304A diode power sensor offers precise measurement of average power within an extensive frequency range of 9 kHz to 6 GHz and a power range of -60 to +20 dBm. This device is tailored for very low frequency (VLF) power measurements, making it an essential tool for professionals in various fields.

Designed with two independent measurement paths, the E9304A power sensor is optimized for use with the EPM family of power meters. The integrated technology allows the power meter to automatically select the appropriate power level path, streamlining your measurement process. Moreover, the addition of switching point hysteresis minimizes unnecessary switching transitions, particularly when near the switch point.

The E9304A is uniquely equipped to handle complex digital modulation formats, making it suitable for contemporary applications in wireless communication, satellite, and cable TV systems. It excels in measuring not just low power but also high-power signals, ensuring versatility in various operational environments. The sensor is capable of assessing both multi-tone and continuous-wave (CW) signals efficiently.

With the capability to manage the large crest factors characteristic of cutting-edge signal modulation formats—such as orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) and wideband CDMA—the E9304A maximizes dynamic range and delivers exceptional measurement integrity.
