The Keysight N7976A is equipped with advanced simultaneous voltage and current measurement functionalities that ensure high accuracy and exceptional resolution. Users can select between two main measurement modes: averaged and digitized, providing the flexibility needed for various testing scenarios.
As a standalone unit, the N7976A power supply can continuously sink up to 10% of its rated output current for an indefinite period. When paired with APS N7909A power dissipater units, it is capable of continuously sinking up to 100% of its rated output current. This feature is instrumental for applications requiring severe load testing.
To further enhance functionality, the N7976A includes built-in programmable output resistance capabilities, making it more versatile for a wide range of testing setups. The integrated arbitrary waveform generator (arb) allows the user to create complex, user-defined voltage or current waveforms with up to 65,535 data points, enabling precise simulations of various operational conditions.
