The Keysight N8486AR Power Sensor represents a significant advancement in power measurement technology, succeeding the legacy 8480 Series Power Sensors. This innovative device incorporates an EEPROM feature, enabling automatic calibration of power sensors—eliminating the need for manual entry of calibration factors into the power meter. The N8486AR enhances the user experience with numerous improvements such as an expanded dynamic and frequency range, enhanced accuracy, superior linearity, and remarkable repeatability with lower Standing Wave Ratio (SWR).
