This cutting-edge simulator empowers engineers to exceed standard testing protocols, enhancing both performance and bankability of solar inverters. With the integration of the DG9000A software, users can control and test multiple inverter inputs simultaneously, optimizing their products to outperform competitors.
The PV8922A features an autoranging output characteristic, providing significantly greater flexibility compared to traditional rectangular output characteristic power supplies. This innovative design expands the power curve, allowing for a more extensive range of voltage and current combinations, all housed within a single power supply unit.
Engineered as a programmable DC power source, the PV8922A accurately simulates the output characteristics of a photovoltaic array across diverse environmental conditions. Factors such as temperature fluctuations, varying irradiance levels, aging effects, and cell technology variations can all be efficiently modeled, enabling thorough assessment of inverter MPPT algorithms and efficiency metrics.
The PV8922A uniquely offers two Solar Array Simulation (SAS) operating modes:
- Curve Mode: Rapidly generates the I-V curve through sophisticated mathematical computations.
- Table Mode: Allows for precise input of up to 1024 user-defined voltage/current points, creating a customized characteristic curve to accurately replicate any specific I-V curve.
