These cryogenic vials are specifically designed for placement in the vapor phase of liquid nitrogen; immersion in the liquid phase is strictly prohibited. Such immersion may lead to liquefied gas penetrating the vial, resulting in rapid vaporization and potential explosion or leakage. To ensure safe usage:

• Never overfill liquid nitrogen storage units.
• Inspect vials carefully for visible defects around closure rims before use.
• Utilize personal protective equipment, including full face shields, heavy gloves, and laboratory apparel when handling cryogenic vials.
