The Pacific Power 3060-MS is an advanced 62.5 kVA, 3-phase AC Power Source designed to meet demanding power conversion and testing requirements.
This solid state frequency converter provides exceptional voltage and frequency conversion capabilities, enhancing reliability for both facility power management and AC power testing applications. The innovative design features an input power supply section that rectifies incoming AC power to DC, significantly minimizing input current distortion. The heart of the 3060-MS is its high-frequency, solid state, pulse-width modulated switchmode inverter, meticulously managed by a highly stable digital oscillator. This combination delivers outstanding system performance, making it an ideal choice for evaluating products against voltage dips, variations, and frequency fluctuations.
The Pacific Power 3060-MS supports an impressive output voltage range, capable of reaching up to 600V L-L, making it particularly suitable for transformer testing and other advanced applications. With the ability to provide 350 Amps of Pulse Current per phase, this power source efficiently drives non-linear loads, relieving the need to oversize facility power—a common requirement with rotary or lower-quality PWM systems.
Standard frequency options include a variable frequency range of 47–500 Hz, along with switch-selectable fixed frequencies of 50, 60, or 400 Hz. An optional external SCU/UPC-32 programmable controller can be integrated for enhanced AC power test and development applications.
