The PP / PTFE Capsule Filter is a highly efficient disposable filtration unit designed for precise removal of particulate contamination and bacteria from various aqueous and solvent solutions as well as gas streams. This ready-to-use filtration system negates the laborious tasks of disassembly, cleaning, and reassembly of traditional filter housings, providing a seamless filtration experience.

Engineered without the use of glue or surfactants, the GVS capsule features a serial layer filter design that enhances throughput and ensures an extended operational life. With two strategically placed upstream vents, the capsule allows for versatile venting in any position, making it ideal for diverse laboratory settings.

All capsules equipped with membrane media undergo pre-flushing with purified water to minimize extractables, enhancing the purity of filtered solutions. Constructed with food-compliant polypropylene housings, these capsules are ideal for applications requiring FDA/EU compliance. It remains the end user's responsibility to confirm regulatory compliance based on final applications. Each unit is rigorously integrity tested and passes class VI toxicology standards before shipment. The capsule filters come available in both sterile and non-sterile versions and are packaged in low particulate plastic bags and individual boxes. Sterile options are shrink-wrapped and equipped with sterility indicators.
