PYREX® Kjeldahl Nitrogen Distilling Apparatus
The PYREX® Kjeldahl Nitrogen Distilling Apparatus is an essential tool for laboratories conducting nitrogen determination in organic compounds. This finely engineered apparatus facilitates both the digestion and distillation processes within a single flask, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in analytical testing.
Key Features:
- Designed specifically for the determination of nitrogen in a variety of organic substances.
- Includes a specialized Kjeldahl flask and a Graham condenser featuring 10 mm outer diameter tubulations.
- Both digestion and distillation stages are possible in the integrated Kjeldahl flask.
- The assembly allows for the quantification of ammonia, and thus nitrogen, during the distillation stage.
- Equipped with an inlet tube for the introduction of permanganate solution post-distillation.
- Flask is supplied with an outer Standard Taper 29/42 joint, while the Graham condenser features an outer Standard Taper 19/38 joint for seamless connection.
- For convenience, replacement Graham condensers are available (refer to model #2540-200).
