Directions for Use:
Site Preparation: Ensure that electrode sites are clean, dry, and free of any oils or residues. If necessary, use alcohol to prepare the site and allow it to dry completely. Employ a brisk rub with a gauze pad to eliminate dead skin cells and any remaining residue.
KLIP Application: Before application, check to ensure the KLIP sensing plate is free from any film. If using gel or paste, apply directly to the KLIP sensing plate before securing it to the electrode site. If utilizing a gel pad, place it directly on the patient, and then position the KLIP with the sensing plate on the pad. Confirm that the KLIP tension is secure — a firm grip is essential to minimize motion artifacts.
Cable Attachment: For pin connections, simply insert the pin leadwires into the locking post and secure. For snap connections, attach the grabber style leadwire to the KLIP.
Maintenance Note: To maintain performance, regularly clean any cream or gel buildup under the sensing plate by unscrewing the snap or combining connector and removing the sensing plate. After cleaning, reattach the sensing plate and connector to restore functionality.
