Featuring a one-way check valve, the Snorkel Stopper automatically relieves gas pressure, while its non-sticking, ground-glass valve is supported by a stainless-steel spring and a PTFE closure screw, guaranteeing exceptional chemical resistance. The valve effectively releases pressures exceeding 1 pound and prevents direct air contact with the vessel, enhancing safety and reliability.
Pressure Release Valves
Tailored for use with separatory funnels, these Pressure Release Valves are a vital tool for mitigating the dangers of pressure build-up. The design allows for easy installation, simply slipping over the funnel's drain and securing with a quick twist. Removing the valve for draining operations is equally straightforward, supporting 6mm and 10mm drain stems.
Constructed from durable PTFE resin, these valves are factory-set to release at 1 psi, with adjustable settings available for pressures up to 5 psi by utilizing a standard screwdriver on the pressure release screw. Additionally, various models can be found that convert other separatory funnels to enable automatic venting, ensuring robust pressure management without compromising performance.
VentSep
Introducing VentSep, an advanced 1-liter or 2-liter separatory funnel featuring a built-in relief valve, seamlessly integrating with benches and 3D shakers. With the capability to accommodate up to eight 2-liter or ten 1-liter funnels simultaneously, VentSep guarantees effective management of pressure build-up, allowing for confident, vigorous shaking.
