Chemglass Solvent Distillation Heads, Airfree, Schlenk

Enhance your laboratory efficiency with the innovative Chemglass Solvent Distillation Heads, designed specifically for the re-purification of solvents under an inert atmosphere. This essential equipment combines functionality with convenience, ensuring a seamless distillation process.

Key Features:

    • Inert Atmosphere Operation: Perfectly suited for re-purification tasks, allowing for high-level processing of solvents in a controlled environment.
    • One-Piece Design: The integrated design of the condenser and storage reservoir eliminates the need for multiple connections, reducing the risk of leaks and streamlining set-up time.
    • Grease-Free, Leakproof Seals: Equipped with 0 - 4 mm Chem-Vac™ Chem-Cap® valves that provide exceptional sealing capabilities, ensuring your processes are safe and effective.
    • Versatile Operation: The lower 3-way valve allows for easy solvent management, letting you return solvents to the flask, take off samples, or store them in a graduated reservoir effortlessly.

The product features a syringe access port incorporating a 4 mm PTFE stopcock with a 14/20 outer joint, making it compatible with CG-3022 septum stoppers. This design allows for repeated syringe punctures or changes of the septum, all while maintaining the integrity of the solvent. Additionally, Valve (A) facilitates the isolation of the still from the inert gas source, while Valve (D) is designed for the evacuation and purging of the receiver flask. The uptake tube (F) features a 24/40 inner joint, whereas the takeoff connection (E) has a 14/20 inner joint, ensuring compatibility with standard laboratory equipment and enhancing usability.
