Additionally, Valve (A) facilitates the isolation of the still from the inert gas source, while Valve (D) is designed for the evacuation and purging of the receiver flask. The uptake tube (F) features a 24/40 inner joint, whereas the takeoff connection (E) has a 14/20 inner joint, ensuring compatibility with standard laboratory equipment and enhancing usability.
