The system is equipped with a modern color TFT touchscreen that offers a user-friendly, menu-driven interface. This allows users to effortlessly set and monitor critical parameters such as voltage, current, power, and internal resistance values directly from the display. Programmable voltage and current ramps enhance testing precision, while the ability to store these settings for repeated use adds to the system's flexibility. The preventive features include under voltage limits to protect battery packs from deep discharge, along with comprehensive event logs that keep track of all actions, warnings, and faults for better oversight.
This powerful regenerative DC power system covers an extensive range of test requirements throughout the product lifecycle, including battery simulation, battery charge/discharge testing, DC motor testing, electric powertrain evaluation, fuel cell load analysis, and solar panel testing. It is also adept at testing high-power fuses, contactors, and circuit breakers.
The IB-1-1000-100-1000 is designed in a Single-Channel configuration, allowing power to flow in both directions. It includes a Power Distribution Unit (PDU) for remote connection between the i-BEAM and the Device Under Test (DUT), specifically in test cell environments. The PDU is housed in a free-standing cabinet that features shutdown and reset controls, a voltmeter, a status light tower, and a safety door contact that immediately shuts down the system if the cabinet door is opened.
