This state-of-the-art unit features a user-friendly color TFT touchscreen that provides a menu-driven interface, enabling effortless navigation and adjustment of system settings. Users can easily set and monitor essential parameters such as voltage, current, power, and internal resistance directly from the touch interface. The system is equipped with programmable voltage and current ramps, enhancing testing flexibility and allowing for the storage of configurations for future use.
Safety is paramount with the IB-1-800-1600 as it includes features to set under-voltage limits, thereby protecting battery packs from deep discharge. Comprehensive event logging captures a detailed record of system actions, warnings, and faults for easy reference and analysis.

The IB-1-800-1600 is designed in a single-channel configuration, allowing power to flow in both directions. It comes with a Power Distribution Unit (PDU) that facilitates a remote connection between the i-BEAM and the Device Under Test (DUT) within a testing environment. The PDU features a free-standing cabinet equipped with essential controls such as shutdown and reset, voltmeter, and a status light tower. Additionally, a door contact safety mechanism automatically deactivates the system upon cabinet door opening, ensuring safe operation.
