Enhancing versatility, this system includes programmable voltage and current ramps which can be saved for repeated usage. Under voltage limits can be set to protect battery packs from deep discharge, ensuring reliability during tests. The integrated event logs maintain a detailed history of system actions, warnings, and faults, enabling comprehensive tracking of operations.
The Sorensen IB-4-300-120-600 platform is versatile enough to cover a wide range of testing needs throughout the product lifecycle. It is ideal for applications such as battery simulation, battery testing (charge/discharge), DC motor testing, electric powertrain testing, fuel cell load testing, solar panel testing, and evaluating high power fuses, contactors, and circuit breakers.
Featuring a Single-Channel configuration, this regenerative power system allows power to flow in either direction. It includes a Power Distribution Unit (PDU) that facilitates a remote connection between the i-BEAM and a Device Under Test (DUT) within a test cell. The PDU is housed in a free-standing cabinet that includes essential shutdown and reset controls, a voltmeter, a status light tower, and a safety door contact that automatically engages the shutdown sequence when the cabinet door is opened.
