Equipped with a vibrant color TFT touchscreen and a user-friendly menu-driven interface, the IB-4-300-60-200 allows for intuitive control over system parameters. Users can effortlessly set and monitor voltage, current, power, and internal resistance values directly from the touchscreen. The ability to program voltage and current ramps, and to save these settings for repeated use, provides significant operational flexibility, while under voltage limit settings ensure protection against deep battery discharge, enhancing the longevity of battery packs. A comprehensive event log keeps track of all system actions, including warnings and faults, ensuring thorough monitoring.

The Sorensen i-BEAM IB-4-300-60-200 provides versatile testing capabilities throughout the product life cycle. Key applications include, but are not limited to, battery simulation and testing (both charge and discharge), DC motor testing, electric powertrain validation, fuel cell load assessments, solar panel evaluations, and testing of high-power fuses, contactors, and circuit breakers. This single-channel unit facilitates bi-directional power flow, supporting high-level versatility in testing scenarios.

Additionally, the system comes with a Power Distribution Unit (PDU) that establishes a remote link between the i-BEAM and the Device Under Test (DUT) within a testing cell. The PDU is housed in a free-standing cabinet featuring shutdown and reset controls, a voltmeter for real-time readings, status indicator lights, and a safety door contact that automatically disables the system if the cabinet is opened.
