TDK-Lambda Genesys™ GEN30-110 Programmable AC/DC Power Supply

The TDK-Lambda GEN30-110 is engineered to redefine performance benchmarks in OEM, Industrial, and Laboratory settings. This powerful 3.3KW power supply outputs 30V and 110A, making it a versatile choice for demanding applications.

Designed with high power density and low ripple, the GEN30-110 is equipped with user-friendly interfaces that cater to both novice and experienced users. It supports various worldwide input configurations, including both single-phase (230VAC) and three-phase (208VAC or 400VAC) options at 50/60Hz. With an impressive Active Power Factor Correction of 0.99 for single-phase and 0.92-0.94 for three-phase operation, it guarantees reliable performance even in challenging AC environments while adhering to European EMC directives.

The intuitive front panel allows for precise control via encoders that can be adjusted for fine or coarse tweaks (~6 or 30 turns), accompanied by four-digit LED displays for voltage and current. Featured safety functionalities such as Adjustable Over Voltage Protection (OVP), Under Voltage Lockout (UVL), and Current Foldback provide users with enhanced flexibility and security. Notably, the Foldback feature can be configured to shut off the output for added safety measures.

The GEN30-110 offers the capability to connect up to four identical units in parallel, providing a scalable solution that can present as a single power supply unit (3kW to 60kW). This is especially beneficial for system integrators looking for customization in design flexibility.

Safety remains paramount with features like Safe Re-Start and Last Setting Memory. Users can choose between resuming the previous settings or opting for zero output after a power loss, ensuring a safe operating environment. The Last Setting Memory retains crucial configurations, including output voltage, current, remote or local mode settings, OVP, UVL, and Baud Rate without requiring a battery. The front panel controls include options for Output On/Off and Local/Remote Digital selection, with a lock feature for added protection.

Each Genesys™ model is equipped with a built-in 16-bit RS-232/RS-485 digital interface, allowing the control of up to 31 power supplies in a daisy-chain configuration. Users can select between analog remote programming options of 0-5V or 0-10V via rear panel DIP switches. The modular design, utilizing Surface Mount Technology (SMT), ensures high reliability throughout its operational lifecycle.
