The TDK-Lambda Genesys GEN50-200 is a high-performance 10kW DC Programmable Power Supply designed to meet the rigorous demands of modern electrical testing and development environments. Engineered for user-friendliness, the GEN50-200 features multiple remote programming options. Choose from built-in Remote Analog Program/Monitor capabilities or opt for Remote Digital Serial Communication through RS-232/RS-485 interfaces. For those seeking enhanced connectivity, optional interfaces like LXI certified LAN, IEEE (IEEE 488.2 & SCPI compliant), and Isolated Analog (5V/10V and 4-20mA) are also available.
The intuitive front panel ensures straightforward control, incorporating digital encoders for precise adjustments—selectable for fine or coarse tuning (~6 or 30 turns). The four-digit LED Voltage and Current meters provide instant feedback for power levels, enhancing operational efficiency. Additionally, features such as Adjustable Over Voltage Protection (OVP), Under Voltage Lockout (UVL), and Current Foldback protection augment safety and usability, with set values viewable on the display even when the output is off.
Key safety features include Safe Re-Start and Last Setting Memory. With Safe Re-Start, users can specify whether the Genesys™ power supply resumes its previous settings or initiates at a zero (safe) output following a power interruption. The Last Setting Memory function ensures that output voltage, current settings, remote or local mode, OVP, UVL, Foldback, Baud Rate, and Start-Up Mode are retained without relying on battery backup.
Designed to excel in challenging AC environments, the GEN50-200 supports popular three-phase AC inputs—208VAC, 400VAC, or 480VAC—at 50/60Hz with Passive Power Factor Correction, effectively meeting European EMC requirements.
