The Tektronix TIVM02 IsoVu Measurement System delivers unparalleled galvanically isolated measurement capabilities, specifically designed for accurately resolving high bandwidth, differential signals up to ±50 Vpk amidst significant common mode voltages. This exceptional system boasts best-in-class common mode rejection across its entire bandwidth, ensuring reliable measurements even in challenging conditions.
Engineered for compatibility with most Tektronix oscilloscopes featuring the TekVPI interface, the TIVM02 also supports MSO/DPO70K series oscilloscopes via the TCA-VPI50 adapter. The IsoVu technology employs an advanced electro-optic sensor to convert electrical signals into optical signals, offering complete electrical isolation between the device under test and the oscilloscope.
At the heart of IsoVu’s innovative design are four independent lasers, an optical sensor, five optical fibers, and sophisticated feedback/control mechanisms. The sensor head, which interfaces directly with the test point, guarantees complete electrical isolation and is powered through one of the optical fibers, eliminating the need for batteries.
