The Test Equity 1027H Temperature & Humidity Chamber is engineered for precision testing in demanding environments. Equipped with a state-of-the-art cascade refrigeration system, this chamber can achieve workspace temperatures as low as -73°C while maintaining humidity control ranging from 10% to 95% RH. The innovative cascade system features two interdependent compressors: the low-stage compressor directly cools the workspace, while the high-stage compressor effectively manages the heat-exchanger to enhance cooling efficiency.
This chamber is essential for rugged testing applications across industrial, automotive, and military sectors, often requiring low temperatures of -40°C, -55°C, or -65°C.
Safety and reliability are paramount in the Test Equity 1027H. The unit includes independent limit protection that monitors both high and low temperature thresholds; should an out-of-limit condition arise, the chamber's limit controller automatically shuts down the system and activates an audible alarm. A capacitive-type sensor ensures rapid response times, eliminating the need for traditional, less reliable wet-wicks.
Designed with user convenience in mind, the chamber incorporates structural foam and fiberglass blanket insulation to prevent unsightly window sweating during temperature cycling conditions. Two 4-inch access ports facilitate the easy attachment of wires and sensors to test samples from both sides of the chamber, ensuring versatile operation.
The Test Equity 1027H features a heavy-duty stainless steel wire shelf that promotes optimal airflow around the test sample, ensuring uniform temperature distribution throughout the chamber. Users can choose between the F4T touch screen or the original F4 controller, both of which include RS-232 and Ethernet interfaces. For additional connectivity, a GPIB option is also available.
With a heated viewing window designed to eliminate fogging and condensation, the Test Equity 1027H enhances visibility without requiring manual intervention. This chamber employs non-CFC refrigeration and is constructed with a minimal number of fittings, joints, and welds, significantly reducing the potential for refrigerant leaks.
