VITREK PA900 Precision Power Analyzer
The Vitrek PA900 is engineered for unparalleled multi-channel power measurement, boasting high accuracy and wideband performance to effectively address the most challenging energy measurement applications. Its superior capability shines when dealing with tough power factors, low phase angles, and high crest factor loads, achieving full performance for crest factors up to an impressive 30:1. With the PA900, users gain access to advanced power measurement capabilities right at their fingertips.
Designed to meet demanding power harmonic requirements, the PA900 can display up to 500 harmonics, including those at aviation power frequencies, making it a versatile tool for various applications. A standout feature of the PA900 is its built-in compliance testing for leading environmental performance standards, ensuring that it meets industry benchmarks without compromising on functionality.
The modular design of the PA900 allows users to configure their power measurement system according to specific needs. A single mainframe can accommodate up to 4 channels of power measurement, available in three distinct channel types:
- S type Channel card: Offers economical, high-performance power measurement with 0.1% basic accuracy and ample bandwidth to handle waveforms up to 1 MHz.
- A type ultra-precision Channel card: Provides a two-year accuracy rating of 0.03% of reading, along with bandwidth capabilities of up to 1 MHz.
- W type Wideband Channel card: Specifically designed for precision power measurements on complex real-world waveforms, with sampling speeds fast enough to manage waveforms up to 5 MHz.
Each channel card is complemented by three current input options:
- D current input option: Features an auto-ranging Dual Shunt system, enabling precision current measurement from as low as 0.1 micro-amp resolution in the 1 amp range, up to 20 amps RMS on the high range.
- H current input option: Suitable for higher current measurements, this option operates from 10 micro-amp resolution to a maximum of 30 amps RMS.
- X input current option: Optimally designed for compatibility with a diverse range of external shunts and current transducers, offering flexibility for various applications.
