Voltech PM6000 Multi-Phase Power Analyzer

The Voltech PM6000 Multi-Phase Power Analyzer delivers precise and comprehensive measurements of electrical power for all types of devices that consume, convert, or generate electricity. Merging years of expertise in power measurement with advanced digital signal processing technology, the PM6000 offers unparalleled measurement and reporting capabilities designed to address diverse power measurement challenges.

Key Features of the Voltech PM6000

    • Configurable up to six wattmeter channels, e.g., one AC input with five DC outputs, or a three-phase input and output setup.
    • Exceptional accuracy: 0.02% reading and 0.05% range.
    • Reliable measurements on all waveforms, including those with heavy distortion due to rectification and smoothing processes in power supplies.
    • Accurate performance even at low power factors (<0.01).
    • Wide bandwidth of 10 MHz.
    • Continuous sampling at 5 MSPS without gaps, ensuring no loss of data during integration or low-power standby measurements.
    • Sampling at 40 MHz (minimum 5 MHz) for guaranteed error-free results.
    • Superior rejection of common-mode signals ensures accuracy across all applications.
    • User-friendly interface with a bright color display and intuitive menu system.
    • Versatile connectivity options including RS232, Printer, and Ethernet.

    • Z: Impedance
    • Vrmn: Rectified mean voltage
    • Armn: Rectified mean current
    • Max/Min: Holds Maximum and Minimum values, ideal for inrush testing
    • Math: Calculate efficiency between channels or perform complex calculations (e.g., transformer k factors)
    • Integrator: Measures watt-hours (W-h) consumption of appliances and low-power standby metrics
    • Datalog: Logs all measurements to memory, with options for hard disk or floppy in a compatible spreadsheet format

Note: The PM6000 is compatible with Voltech's current transformers designed for 1A output. For instance, to measure currents up to 100A, utilize the CL100 clamp-on transformer, which has a 100:1 ratio, displaying accurate measurements across the designated range. Other non-Voltech current transformers can also be employed if they output within the 0 to 1 Amp range.
