The Whirl-Pak® Stand-Up Bag revolutionizes sample handling in laboratory environments, providing a stable and durable solution for various testing needs. Designed for efficiency, these bags can stand independently without the need for racks or holders, allowing users to comfortably perform laboratory tasks with both hands.

When a sample is added, the special gusseted bottom flattens out to ensure the bag remains upright, mimicking the functionality of traditional beakers or bottles. However, the Whirl-Pak® bags come at a fraction of the cost, are sterilized for safe use, and eliminate the risk of breakage, all while occupying significantly less storage space compared to conventional containers.

The bags feature a white, write-on strip designed for easy identification of samples. Users can conveniently write on this strip using standard ballpoint pens, pencils, or felt-tip markers, and the paper-like finish minimizes ink smearing, making it suitable for various writing instruments.

These bags have a versatile capacity designed for handling fluid ounces when closed and folded over three times at the tab. The approximate dimensions ensure compatibility for diverse laboratory applications. However, it is crucial to note that these bags should not be utilized at temperatures exceeding 180°F (82°C), although they can be frozen to any lower temperature, including liquid nitrogen; careful handling post-freezing is advised. All bags are sterilized upon production, ensuring maximum safety and reliability in sample processing.
