RENT AEMC 6472 Digital Ground Resistance Tester (Call for Availability)
The AEMC 6472 Digital Ground Resistance Tester is an advanced and portable instrument meticulously engineered for various measurement applications. This state-of-the-art device can effectively measure Bond Resistance, Ground Resistance (both with and without clamps), Soil Resistivity, Earth Coupling, as well as Step & Touch Potential. When paired with the GroundFlex Adapter Model 6474, this tester expands its capabilities to include Power Transmission Tower and Tower Leg Ground Resistance testing. Equipped with a large, easy-to-read LCD, the AEMC 6472 displays vital information such as ground electrode resistance, test voltage, current, frequency, individual electrode resistance, battery status, and much more.
Designed for efficiency, the AEMC 6472 measures resistances from 0.01 to 99.99kΩ and boasts an auto-ranging capability that automatically selects the optimal measurement range, test frequency, and test current. The adjustable test frequency can be set either manually or automatically, ranging from 40 to 5078Hz. This feature effectively mitigates high levels of interference, enabling precise measurements even under challenging conditions, such as the presence of high stray currents that typically compromise accuracy. Furthermore, the device can store up to 512 test results in its internal memory, which can be easily recalled or downloaded to a PC using the included DataView software. This software facilitates Automatic Report Generation, Automatic Fall-of-Potential Plot Generation, Frequency/Resistance Plots, and much more.
