When integrated with a sweep generator, the AR 10S1G4A delivers a minimum RF power of 13 watts, with the capacity to reach a nominal output of 18 watts at 3dB compression. The amplifier features a user-friendly front panel gain control, allowing operators to adjust the output level with ease. To ensure protection from RF input overdrive, it incorporates an RF input leveling circuit that manages the RF input level to the first amplifier stage when the input exceeds 0 dBm. Additionally, the device is safeguarded against over-temperature conditions by disconnecting the DC voltage to the amplifier stages if cooling blockages or fan failures occur.

A digital display on the front panel provides crucial information regarding operating status and alerts for fault conditions, enabling the user to quickly address any over-temperature or power supply issues.
